TRM Labs, a leader in blockchain intelligence, announced today that it now covers The Open Network (TON).
With this change, TRM will be able to offer important risk management and compliance solutions to law enforcement and financial institutions that work in the TON ecosystem.
TON’s unique architecture, which includes dynamic sharding, makes it possible for millions of transactions to happen every second. While speed and scalability are appealing, the blockchain needs strong intelligence to stop bad people from taking advantage of the network.
TRM’s coverage is meant to meet this need by providing tools for checking wallets, keeping an eye on transactions, making sure that regulations are followed, and helping with incident response.
Rahul Raina, Chief Technology Officer at TRM Labs, said, “Innovation and security must go hand in hand. By expanding our coverage to TON, we’re giving compliance teams and law enforcement the intelligence they need to navigate regulatory requirements, detect illicit activity, and support the safe growth of one of the world’s most dynamic blockchain networks.”
TRM’s platform makes it easier for crypto and financial institutions to assess risk, find threats, and follow the rules. This includes checking for sanctions and high-risk activity, keeping an eye out for fraud, and making sure that all the rules for TON trading and custody are followed.
Most importantly, TRM’s coverage also gives police more power. The platform gives information that can be used to track down illegal activity on TON. This helps with investigations and stopping financial crime.
This is further enhanced by the integration of Chainabuse, a leading platform for reporting malicious crypto activity. Due to TON’s close ties to Telegram, the Chainabuse integration is very important. It will let people know right away about scams and fraud on the messaging app TON so that Telegram’s more than 3 million monthly active users can be protected quickly.
With this addition, TRM now supports 77 blockchains, and it now supports 32 of them better than before.
