Pi Network has officially transitioned to its Open Network, enabling external connectivity and inviting businesses to join its growing ecosystem. With over a 60 million userbase, all eyes or on future plans of the Pi network and its team.
The launch, is a significant milestone that enables certified companies and developers to interact with the network and create practical applications.

Pi Network founder Chengdiao Fan emphasized the project’s unique approach in the crypto industry. Unlike many other blockchain projects launched through ICOs or pre-sales, Pi never held an ICO, never sold Pi tokens, and ensured that 80% of Pi tokens belonged to the community.
“Pi has always been different. It is a non-conformist. Many innovations come from those who challenge the norms, conventions, and established practices,” Fan stated.
The network has spent six years building its infrastructure and ecosystem, ensuring that Pi has real-world utility before opening up. The KYC and KYB verification procedure was a crucial component of this strategy, helping to guarantee legality and authenticity among users and companies.
Pi’s user base has been criticized for being “too mainstream,” although Fan disregarded this as a flaw. She saw it as Pi’s greatest asset instead, saying, “History has demonstrated that technology only survives when it satisfies genuine human needs. Pi seeks to address the issues of practicality and widespread adoption.
Fan highlighted the importance of this transition, stating that the firewall is removed, allowing external connectivity. This makes it easier for merchants to sell, developers to build apps, and businesses to grow in the Pi ecosystem.
New developers can test and monetize their apps using the Pi Ad Network, while established businesses can tap into Pi’s large and engaged user base.
Fan urged the community to maintain concentration and keep developing, saying, “Don’t let the sounds divert you. Pay attention to what is important and has an impact on the globe and the cryptocurrency industry.
