Recently, a tweet caused quite a stir in the cryptocurrency world. An influencer with almost 30K followers claimed that XRP, the cryptocurrency, has partnered with Elon Musk.
The tweet said Ripple’s CEO confirmed the partnership and that XRP’s value could go up to $600. It even included an image of “Binance Square,” adding to the excitement. But before everyone gets too excited, let’s take a closer look at what’s actually going on.
The problem is, that there’s no official confirmation about this partnership from either Musk or Ripple. No press release, no verified statement, nothing. This isn’t the first time such rumors have been spread, either. The idea of a partnership between Musk and XRP has been around for a while.
Back in 2021, some believed that Musk’s favorite cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, would soon surpass XRP in value. While that idea got a lot of attention, it never actually turned into anything solid.
Now, fast forward to today, and things have heated up again with another claim. Some users on X (formerly Twitter) say they saw a tweet from Musk about XRP, but it was deleted in seconds. The tweet supposedly said, “XRP is looking quite promising,” but no one was able to capture a screenshot.
An AI tool, Grok, reportedly confirmed that the tweet existed but was quickly removed. However, without any concrete proof, it’s hard to say if it actually happened.
So, what does this all mean? In fact, there’s no actual evidence that Musk is teaming up with XRP or even tweeting about it. It’s speculation and rumors, which for the moment are unconfirmed.
Although speculation of a collaboration between Musk and XRP sounds good, we don’t have any substantial evidence to back it.
